My friend, Stephanie, (who moved Denver and abandoned me) told me this story today. I have to blog about it, because it made me laugh. She and her husband, Preston, took their son, Connor, to check out a summer camp at a local church in Littleton. After finding out about the activities, Stephanie asked if they did any kind of Bible study. The person giving them the tour said, "Oh Heavens no, it's summertime." Stephanie said to me, "I guess God takes summers off!" Well that explains why it's so damn hot in Texas in the summer!
