He's 7 weeks old and ready for Disney World! The outfit and blanket came from Polly's cousin, Lynn, in Texas. The Mickey stuffed animal came from Polly's brother, Scott. She gave it to him when he was born 20 years ago, and he gave it to Brenna when she was born. Brenna doesn't know it yet, but she's giving it to Austin! That should be okay, since I found it in the bottom of the stuffed animal bin. Sorry Scott, the Barbies and babies are higher up in the Brenna love hierarchy. The trip to Disney may change all of that. We'll see.
Austin continues to grow and thrive. He's discovered how great napping in his swing can be. Today he napped there for 1.5 hours! Woohoo! Mommy got some work done! He still doesn't care to nap in his crib or pack 'n play...oh boy heaven help the ladies at daycare. I guess we'll have to work on that in the next few weeks. He continues to smile at us more and more. He's also getting grabby...hair, shirts and earrings are all fair game now! And let me tell you, his grip is STRONG!
